English Springer Spaniel Super Puppies for Sale

This year we’ve added some additional help at the kennel. In an effort to improve upon our already great product, we kept 1/2 of this litter through the Super Puppy training program. In an effort to train the trainers and to evaluate this particular breeding a little more closely. With my direction, we’ve had 2 of the helpers at the kennel work with the puppies on a daily basis. The Super puppy training included:
- lots of retrieving
- leash walks
- Quartering
- Focus-boards
- live birds
- Water……….and lots of socialization with humans and other dogs.
We are very pleased with the results and it is now time for the pups to find their forever homes. With purchasing an older puppy, yes, you will miss out on a few weeks of the cute and cuddly stage of a puppy, but you’ll also get a pup that is much easier to potty train and that is much more adaptable to new situations. A more confident and well adjusted puppy is essentially what everyone is looking for when adding a new member to the family anyway, and that’s what we’re offering.
All of the pups love to retrieve, walk fairly well on leash, and have had gun fire from a distance while doing retrieve exercises. They’ve all been to the water and have swam and retrieved from the duck pond. They’ve been introduced to the crate and most everything else that is essential for living amongst the human companions.
Sire is successful field trial dog, house pet, and has retrieved nearly every upland bird and waterfowl species that you will find in the Dakotas. Under the guidance of Absolute Gun Dogs, Payne have earned a guns award, a certificate of merit, and a 3rd place finish in National Championship competitions. He also has a certificate of merit and numerous Canadian placements with his owner in Canadian field trials. The dam is a nice hunting dog with limited field trial exposure and is mostly used in our hunting trips and guided hunts. Both are calm pets and have that ‘on off switch’ that is expected of a house pet and working dog.
