Sample Training Schedule

Basic Obedience
Basic Obedience requires 2 months of training. Every dog has a unique temperment and will require a slightly different approach to achieve success.

Started Dog
A started dog typically takes 3-5 months of training depending on how quickly your dog takes to the exercises. Again each dog is different and our goal is to deliver the best product possible for the amount of time we have with your dog.

Finished Dog
A finished dog will typically take 6-11 months, again depending on how quickly your dog grasps the different aspects of training presented.

Gun dog Refresher Course
We understand that in our busy lives, we often don’t have sufficient time to spend with our hunting partners in the off season. So Absolute offers a pre-season tune-up which typically consists of 6-8 weeks of refresher training. Your dog’s tune-up will consist of obedience, marked retrieves on land and water, and some live bird hunting to get him or her back in the groove before opening day.
